Shaun Boodram is a second-year PhD student in the Centre for Doctoral Training of Advanced Characterisation of Materials. Shaun’s project involves using Atom Probe Tomography to study ion implantation caused by Ionic Liquid Ion Sources. Shaun did his 4th-year MSci Theoretical Physics project with our group whilst an undergraduate student at University College London. Shaun has a passion for nanotechnology and material science and enjoys utilising his computational skills to solve problems. His master’s project involved using COMSOL to Optimise ion source arrays for materials processing.
